Botswana has 77 Choppies outlets

Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr Vincent Seretse has told Parliament on Tuesday that there are 77 Choppies outlets in Botswana. He said all the 77 outlets were rented by the chain store, adding that he was constrained to disclose the owner of such buildings as the information involves third parties and it was subjected to confidentiality clauses.
Ghanzi North, Member of Parliament, Mr Noah Salakae had requested Minister of Trade and Industry to state the number of Choppies outlets in Botswana, the number of buildings Choppies has rented and the number of those directly owned by Choppies and or those properties rented, the names of owners of the properties.
