Naledi senior school on plan

The Minister of Education and Skills Development, Dr Unity Dow says she is aware that Naledi Senior Secondary School is operating as a 42 stream school with only 38 standard classrooms.
Minister Dow noted that the President recently announced an Economic Stimulus Programme designed to stimulate the economy and address the backlog of facilities across sectors of government including the backlog of classrooms in schools.
She further said Naledi senior secondary was considered and planned for alongside other pressing needs of her ministry for the possible construction of the additional four classrooms.
Gaborone South MP, Mr Kagiso Molatlhegi had asked the minister if she was aware of the shortage of classroom at Naledi Senior Secondary School, and that the 42 streams at the school have only 38 classroom available. He also asked the minister to state the plans for the construction of the eight extra classrooms required at the school. Ends
