Back up water supply project underway

Assistant Minister of Health, Dr Alfred Madigele, has said there are plans to provide Gaborone clinics with back up water supply.
Answering a question in Parliament, he said they would start with clinics that operated on 24 hours basis as well as those with maternity. He said a contractor had been on site for three weeks in Bontleng, Extension 14, Extension 15 and Old Naledi, and the contractor was given 16 weeks to complete the job.
Member of Parliament for Gaborone South, Mr Kagiso Molatlhegi, had wanted the minister to state whether he was aware that there were no plans for back-up water supply at the Bontleng and Old Naledi Clinics in Gaborone despite the clinics doing minor operations and maternity. Ends
