The Minister of Agriculture, Mr Patrick Ralotsia is on a tour of Botswana Meat Commission (BMC) facilities in London, United Kingdom and Oslo, Norway. 

A press release from the ministry states that the tour is a familiarisation trip of the BMC facilities and will provide an opportunity for the minister to have first-hand information on their operations. 

The release states that during the visit, the minister will also meet with the Norwegian Minister of Agriculture to negotiate for an increase of Botswana beef quota, and with Notura who also are buyers of BMC beef. 

Minister Ralotsia is accompanied by the permanent secretary in the ministry, Mr Boipelo Khumomatlhare and BMC chief executive officer, Dr Akolang Tombale.

The minister and his delegation are expected to return home on November 21. Ends
