Maokatumo kgotla restoration ongoing

Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Ms Botlogile Tshireletso has told Parliament that the process of repairing the burnt Maokatumo kgotla offices has already commenced.
She said the tender documents for the project were evaluated and submitted to the District Administration Tender Committee (DATC) on October 28 2015 for approval and award. Ms Tshireletso said the period within which the offices would be restored to their original condition would be determined after the award of the tender.
The MP for Mmadinare, Mr Kefentse Mzwinila had asked the assistant minister when the burnt kgotla offices at Maokatumo would be repaired and restored to their original condition. Ends
