Masitara brace earn Tse nala supremacy

22 Oct 2015

Master Masitara second half brace earned Miscellaneous soccer club the reign of Serowe village in their historic derby clash with Green lovers football club on Wednesday October 21.

Tse nala supremacy over premier new comers, Mariners started when both sides spent a season together in the first division, at that lower league (first division) they shared spoils first round and Miscellaneous held 3-1 victory on the second round.

After trailing 1-nil in the first half, Masitara received a pinpoint pass from Pelaelo Hlabano in early minutes of second half and made a brilliant tap to level the matters.

The only goal of the Mariners was converted by their potent striker Moathodi Ralesotla three minutes in to the game to accumulate total of 11 goals in the premiership.

Masitara placed the second one behind Onkemetse Garetsosane in the mid of the second half, sealing 2-1 victory.

The derby lacked the flair as both sides played play ping pong type of football and lost possession easily.

However, most of the game the ball was on Green lovers half, keeping Garetsosane who made some several saves busy.

Green lovers tactician, Onthusitse Kootswele attributed his loss to technical indiscipline of his side, pointing out they failed to put an eye on Masitara who was assigned to Kudakwashe Manuwere.

Kootswele said their transition was very poor and lost a lot of balls in the wings because they put themselves under unnecessary pressure.

The victories coach,Russia Chaba said they wanted to win the game in all cost and their plan was power play to prevent their opponent to play their possession football.

Tse nala supporters, Tom Radiphophi and Martin Mathiba, said the game was not up to scratch and lacked creativity though they collected three points.

Mathiba said Chaba's first eleven was not their best selection on the day and if he could have done the best selection they could have won the game in the first half. Green lovers fan, Gobonamang Keitsile said the game was unexciting because most of the time both teams played aerial balls. ENDS
