Minister of Trade and Industry, Ms Dorcas Makgato-Malesu, will participate at the Africa Business Week from April 20- 28 in Frankfurt, Germany.

According to a press release from the ministry, the conference is supported by German government and aims to strengthen business and trade relations between Africa and Europe.

The release states that about 700 German companies are expected to partake at the conference themed: ‘Doing Business-Sharing Success.’

The conference will not only afford Ms Makgato-Malesu an opportunity to woo German investors to Botswana, but will also enable her to make a follow up on issues that were agreed upon during the state visit to Germany by President Lt. Gen. Seretse Khama Ian Khama in February, 2012.

The minister will also have the opportunity to hold bilateral meetings with her German counterpart to discuss issues of mutual interest. ENDS
