Mazebedi appreciates LEA assistance

A Local Enterprises Authority (LEA) client, Mr Lemme Mazebedi of Zebedee company has showered the authority with accolades for assisting him establish his horticultural farm.

Giving a motivational testimony during the LEA Selibe Phikwe road show and market day in Bobonong on Friday, Mr Mazebedi said he did not know how to make a business plan and conduct market research, but that the authority came to assist him.

He stated that he approached LEA after his earlier business plan did not get approval at the Citizen Entrepreneurial Development Agency (CEDA).

Mr Mazebedi said it was at LEA that he was provided with skills such as bookkeeping, market research and other necessary aspects. He further hailed LEA that even after funding he continued to enjoy their support such as mentoring and benchmarking.

Mr Mazebedi pleaded with entrepreneurs and aspiring ones to utilise the services of the authority as they were free of charge.

LEA Selibe Phikwe branch manager, Mr Kagiso Habangana  said the authority was mandated to spearhead the culture of entrepreneurship among Batswana. 

Mr Habangana said in an endevour to promote entrepreneurship, LEA adopted a new strategic plan for the years 2014-17. He said the authority now offers differentiated services to its clientele in micro, small and medium enterprises. Ends
