Accident claims life in Tonota

Tonota police are investigating an accident in which a 39 year-old man died on the spot when a car he was driving collided with a horse and trailer in the earlier hours of Sunday (September 20).
In an interview , Superintendent Kenanao Badumetse said the accident occurred when a Toyota Corolla was joining A1 Road from the Mandunyane/Semotswane junction. It then collided with the horse and trailer that was on the A1 Road travelling from the south to the northern direction around 2am.
He said in the accident a 26 year-old woman who was a passenger in the Corolla sustained serious injuries and she is admitted at Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital. Ends
