Parliament Speaker in Russia

The Speaker of the National Assembly, Ms Gladys Kokorwe on Sunday September 20 left for Russia to attend the Eurasian Women’s Forum that will be held under the theme, Women in Today’s World: New Horizon of Cooperation.
A press release from the National Assembly states that the forum will cover topics like women and power, world’s agenda of sustainable development, women and the evolving economy, new opportunities and challenges including the role of women in building a global strategy for health.
The forum will also cover issues on women-led initiatives in today’s world, charity and humanitarian outreach. She is expected back home on September 27. Ends
