Accident injures passengers

Police in Sikwane are investigating an accident involving two vehicles which occurred along the Sikwane-Mochudi road recently.
In an interview, Superintendent Elias Malope said passengers were severely injured as some of them broke their legs and arms and were rushed to Deborah Retief Memorial Hospital, while others were referred to Princess Marina Hospital.
He said the accident took place about 15 kilometres from Sikwane, and that they were yet to establish what could have happened. He said one vehicle had eight passengers and was on its way to Mochudi, while the other carried two people on their way towards Sikwane.
Superintendent Malope advised drivers to be cautious at all times and to overtake when it is safe to do so. Ends
