Ten men BR Highlanders hold Rollers

Ten men BR Highlanders came from a goal down to share points with expensively assembled Township Rollers, Friday August 28 at Serowe Sports Complex in a Be MOBILE Premiership encounter.
Towering Highlanders striker Kgakgamatso Chalashika came on from the bench to level matters for train boys after former Bloemfontein Celtic speedy winger Joel Mogorosi had put Popa Popa, as Rollers are called, ahead following sloppy goalkeeping by Highlanders’ showstopper Tumiso Mashakola in the first half.
The former Letlapeng goalminder failed to clear the goal line after Mogorosi ballooned a speculative high ball towards Mashakola’s posts who let it drop behind the goal line.
Chalashika rounded Kabelo Dambe, who made an uncalculated move and slotted home with only Simisani Mathumo manning the goals.
In a game that pitted less fancied train boys against an expensively assembled Township Rollers that boast former South African premier league campaigners Mogogi Gabonamong, Galagwe Moyana, Kabelo Dambe and Mogorosi, Highlanders captain Agisanyang Ramaabya got marching orders from referee Joshua Bondo in the second half.
Rollers also had seasoned local league campaigners in the mould of Tshepo Motlhabankwe, who has rendered his top class services for top sides like Extension Gunners and Mochudi Centre Chiefs.
Though Popa controlled the better part of the game with the likes of Segolame Boy seeing much of the ball, Highlanders winger Batisani Josiah was a marvel to watch as he persistently pestered Rollers defence, searching for a breakthrough. Ends
