The construction of Letoreng health post, which started in July 2013, is now complete and ready to be handed over to the community in September 12, Kgosi Lekang Koboto of Letoreng has said.

Kgosi Koboto expressed gratitude over the development, saying they had been travelling long distances to Machaneng and Sefhare for health services.

That, he said has been a threat to patients in critical conditions as they could die on the way.

He said the health post, which was the first development in their village, would bring huge changes in terms of health and employment creation for some residents.

However, he urged residents to be ready to utilise the health post to the greatest degree. Kgosi Koboto said he appreciated government for taking their plea for developments into consideration.

Also, he said they were expecting the handing over of a post office before the end of the year or early next year. He further extended the appreciation to Choppies Supermarket, which he said had an input in the construction of their health post.

He called all the residents of Letoreng to attend the handing over ceremony. Ends
