Sankoyo VIB Mobile sign agreement

In an effort to boost their financial muscle, Sankoyo Bush Bucks Club have signed an agreement with a leading Mobile Aggregator in Botswana, VIB Mobile to take part in the DISKI TRIVIA Sms team competition.

The club’s manager, Odirile Sibanda announced during a press briefing that his club has joined the other four local soccer giants, Gaborone United, Mochudi Centre Chiefs, Extension Gunners and Township Rollers in the race.

He said to play the competitions supporters have to Sms their favourite team to 17717 noting that the more they Sms the more their team would benefit as part of the proceeds made from Diski Trivia go to the participating teams.

Sibanda urged Sankoyo supporters to rally behind their team by taking part in the competition to give the team a better chance of getting a big share. 

He also revealed that individuals stand a chance to win one of three brand NEW 2015 Mercedes Benz AMG cars every two months and a share of up to P30 000 weekly.

Meanwhile, DISKI TRIVIA team competition was launched in 2013 at Phakalane Golf Estate and some teams had already benefited.

On other issues, Sibanda informed media practitioners that they had entered into a partnership with Okavango Roadside Guest House to accommodate Ngurungu boys during their camps.

“I am pleased to inform you that Okavango Roadside Guest House is now a home for Ngurungu boys and the management has been rallying behind the team for a long time,” he added.

Situated at Disaneng ward in Maun, a few kilometres from Thamalakane River, the guest house provides a relaxing atmosphere and a true meaning of vacation and tranquillity with first class services to serve all customers.

However, Sankoyo Bush Bucks have been struggling financially as the team finished the last season without a sponsor. 

This year they started the season on a high note as they managed to secure a P75 000 technical sponsor from Yoli Sports Wear Company in Gaborone. 

The team’s manager said securing a new sponsorship shows that the team’s management is working hard noting that is a sign of good things to come. ENDS
