She said for her it was hard to find a market for the type of business she has ventured into. ‘’Though I used business cards and internet to market my business it was like a huge mountain to climb more especially for people in the rural areas,’’ she stated.

She said the presence of a Beauty Pal in Bobonong has reduced the cost of travelling to far places like Selibe Phikwe and Francistown to do manicure and pedicure.

The 23 year old lamented that her business was established in December 2014. She said she used her savings to start the Beauty Pal business.
‘’I do manicure as well as pedicure which deals with the cutting, shaping, filing and painting of nails adding that shaping eyebrows and inserting or extending eyelashes are some of her priorities.

Manicure is a form of art that deals with the hands and finger nails whilst pedicure deals with feet and toe nails,’’ she continued. She said women, young and old have shown interest in her business since its inception as they are more interested in looking presentable when they go or prepare for weddings and other events.
