Masisi praises church

Vice President, Mr Mokgweetsi Masisi, has applauded the Pentecostal Holiness Church for upholding the highest standards of good corporate governance and democracy.
Mr Masisi, also Moshupa/Manyana MP, said this when officially opening the PHC south region business conference in Moshupa on Friday (July 31).
He applauded the church for contributing to peace and stability in the country.
Mr Masisi appealed to church members to continue the spirit of guiding people and advising government on leadership issues. He said these were commendable principles that would grow the country led by men and women of faith who put themselves forward to be held accountable.
The Vice President showered the church with praises for spreading love and support of community development.
He said through its various initiatives, the church reached out to the community through donating clothes and food hampers to the needy.
He noted that the church also visited prisons and hospitals to offer prayers and encouragement to others. Bishop Lesego Lekgetho said decried shortage of plots for the churches, saying he it took long to have a church plot.
He said they were concerned about mushrooming of churches, some of which he said were unreliable. Ends
