A plot allocated to Masitara Foundation in Boatle has been lying undeveloped for more than five years, says Minister of Lands and Housing, Mr Prince Maele. Mr Maele said the plot, which was allocated for a care centre, stands undeveloped.

He said the foundation was invited to a hearing in 2011 and 2012 to show cause why the plot could not be repossessed, but to no avail.

He said Malete Land Board had invited the landholder again for a hearing during the September 2015 meeting.

The MP for Ramotswa, Mr Samuel Rantuana had asked the minister if he was aware that the plot allocated to Masitara Foundation at Boatle has been lying undeveloped for more than five years and what was being done about it.

Mr Rantuana also wanted to know whether the plot was still going to be used for the construction of a clinic or hospital. Ends
