Presidential jet cost over P470m

The current Presidential Jet cost about P476 812 712. 24 (US$47.5 million) and was supplied by Canadian company, Bombardier Aerospace, Minister of Defence, Justice and Security, Mr Shaw Kgathi told Parliament.
“The agents were EXECU-JET who are known to be a South Africa based company. The amount paid to them as agents is purely between them and Bombardier, therefore neither the BDF nor my office are privy to the amount,” Mr Kgathi said.
He said the issue regarding how much suppliers paid their agents was a matter that his ministry and BDF were not privy to. Gabane/ Mmankgodi MP, Major General Pius Mokgware had asked the minister to state the name of company which supplied the current Presidential Jet, the agents and how much they were paid. ENDS
