Task team hands over Bakgatla report

Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr Slumber Tsogwane, says the task team appointed by the president on bogosi jwa Bakgatla has handed over its report.
Responding to a parliamentary question, Minister Tsogwane said the report had been considered by government and he had been directed to give Bakgatla feedback on the matter.
He said the task force, led by Kgosi Malope II, interacted with Kgosi Kgafela II, Bakgatla and other interest groups to get their views on how the impasse between government and Bakgatla could be resolved.
Selebi Phikwe West MP, Mr Dithapelo Keorapetse had asked the minister to state the nature of talks between government through Kgosi Malope Task Force or team and Kgosi Kgolo Kgafela II and progress and lack thereof on the issue. Ends
