Rollers Bush Bucks negotiate

05 Jul 2015

Sankoyo Bush Bucks team manager Odirile Sibanda has confirmed that some premier league teams have shown interest in some of their players.

He revealed in an interview that Township Rollers and the newly promoted Jwaneng Galaxy have approached them. He however could not reveal the names of the players, save to state that negotiations are ongoing. Sibanda said they allowed both teams to contact the players, and noted that negotiations with Rollers will be finalised soon.

Rumours are rife that the Ngurungu Boys might participate in the coming Barclays Kabelano Charity Spectacular without key players such as strikers, Morris Ruzivo, Omaatla Kebatho, and defenders, Refilwe Senyane and Modiredi Matengu.

Sibanda admitted that his team might participate in the tournament without some players but indicated that it will not affect them as they will find competent replacements. The Ngurungu Boys are expected to log horns with three premier league giants, Mochudi Centre Chiefs, Township Rollers and Extension Gunners on July 25, 2015 at the National Stadium.

Sibanda said that they have embarked on a recruitment drive for a head coach who would advise on players to recruit for the new season. The team parted ways with head coach, Philani Mabhena, at the end of the premier league season.

Assistant coach, Tiiso Gaadimang, is currently the man in charge. He recently informed a press conference that the team has intensified its preparations and is ready to compete. He said that they are  still locked in  negotiations with someplayers with the hope of lending their signatures. ENDS
