Mafolofolo aim to maintain good run

25 Jun 2015

Log leaders, Mafolofolo, are aiming to extend their perfect run when they welcome bottom of the log Mag Stimela in the women’s Mascom Volleyball League on Saturday (June 27).

The two teams clash at Molepolole Institute of Health Sciences as the league resumes after a two-week recess. The league went into a break recently when the national team competed at the Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) African Nations Championships in Kenya.

Mafolofolo would go into the match in merciless form after winning all four matches they played, opening up a three-point lead over defending champions Kutlwano.
Mag Stimela on one hand have lost all of their league matches this season.

Looking at contrasting fortunes of the two sides, it appears that Mafolofolo, which last tasted league glory in 2011, would romp to an easy victory that will maintain their position at the top. The match will start at 1pm.

Before that Kutlwano will lock horns with Spiking Stars at 9am, while Kalavango will face Dynamites at 11am. Mag Stimela will then play against Spiking Stars while the last match will see Kalavango taking on Kutlwano.

Mafolofolo will be back in action on Sunday with two matches against BDF VI and Spiking Stars at Lobatse Sports Complex. The Sunday (June 28) matches will start at 9am and 11am.

In the men’s league Prisons will take on Desert Kings in Lobatse on Sunday, Kutlwano will play against Kalavango, while BDF VI will face Mafolofolo. Ends
