He also said though Chadibe was originally populated by Barotsi nowadays many people from various ethnic background live there.
The presence of people from different tribes, he noted, has nurtured social harmony as these people have learnt to co-exist and rely on each other.
Kgosi Nyambe highlighted that while in the past he used to preside over many cases such as robbery and others, this has changed as fewer cases are reported at the kgotla. He attributed this to many positive developments that are happening in the village.
“It’s all thanks to many churches that are now found in Chadibe and this has helped in the moulding of residents in Chadibe, especially the youth, “said Kgosi Nyambe.
Kgosi Nyambe said many youth now attend churches, which has resulted in them engaging in positive activities that are acceptable to the society.
He said his role as a leader is to listen to people’s problems and provide solutions for them.
He further applauded Batswana noting that most of them are still guided by their norms and values which contributes to good conduct.
However, he said despite the positives in his village, Chadibe still faces challenges such as teenage pregnancy and civil cases.
