Mochudi Centre Chiefs midfielder, Lesego Galenamotlhale was voted the 2014/15 beMOBILE Premier League Player of the Season during the awards ceremony held in Gaborone Saturday night (June 6).
The midfielder also walked away with the bePLAYER of the Season Award voted for by supporters. Galenamotlhale, 26, bossed things from the centre of the park as Magosi secured their third league title in four seasons.
His ability to put in a solid shift, creativity on the ball and willingness to weigh in with an odd goal saw him be a cut above the rest.

Paul Taylor, the managing director of league sponsors, Botswana Telecommunications Corporation Limited (BTCL), said the 2014/15 season was entertaining and captured the fans’ imagination.
He said BTCL was proud to be sponsoring the beMOBILE Premier League saying “we view football as a vehicle for driving social change and improvement of communities. That is why last year we renewed the biggest sponsorship contract in the history of the local game, consistent with the BTCL goal of giving back to the people of Botswana.”
Botswana Football Association (BFA) president, Tebogo Sebego commended BTCL for its enduring partnership with football which dates back to the 2008/09 season.
