Fighters Green Lovers slug it out Sunday

Mogoditshane Fighters and Green Lovers will, on Sunday (May 10), battle it out for the last slot in the be Mobile Premier League.
The first leg match will be played at the SSKB Stadium while the second leg will be played in Serowe on May 17.
Both teams qualified for the promotional play-offs after finishing on second position in the frst division north and south respectively. Jwaneng Galaxy gained automatic promotion to the elite league after winning the southern league, while Miscellaneous won the northern division.
Now it is Fighters and Lovers last chance to prove their mettle as to which team would join the elite league.
Speaking to journalists on May 7, Green Lovers coach, Onthusitse ‘Chips’ Kootswele, said they had prepared well for their opponents. He said they were not under pressure and would treat the game like any other. He said their intention was to win both home and away games.
Fighters coach, Mpho Mabogo also said his team was ready, explaining that they were expecting a tough game from Green Lovers. He described Lovers as a good side. “But we at Fighters want to gain promotion therefore we will not leave any stone un-turned,” he said.
Botswana Premier League, chief executive officer, Bennett Mamelodi said spectators should expect an epic battle from the two teams. ENDS
