Exciting games in store for womens league

Women’s football league continues this week-end with some mouth-watering encounters expected at different part of the country.

Log leaders, Township Rollers, would aim to continue with their unbeaten run, when they face Makufa at Mogoditshane Junior Secondary School.

Popa women are the summit of the log with 44 points, and out of the 16 games they have played, they have managed to win 14, draw two games. It remains to be seen if Makufa who are on position five will stop Township Rollers fete, who seem determined to clinch the championship.

Makufa should also be weary of Rollers because they are good at sitting at the back and unleashing good counter attacks. Makufa have played 17 games, won nine, draw three, lost five, and they have 30 points therefore Saturday’s encounter is very important as they can make it to 33 points and four points will separate them with Meat Girls who are sitting on position four with 37 points.

Vicomates who were recently been found guilty for not attending games, and charged three points, two goals which has been awarded to affected teams per game not played will travel to Kanye, to face Kanye Swallows.

Vicomates out of 17 games, they are yet to record a win, they have drawn two games and lost 15 games, and they have only two points. They are facing a stubborn opponents, more especially when they are home, therefore they need to do their homework thoroughly, lest they get humiliated.

In other games to be played on Saturday South East Girls will host UB Kicks at SYDEA grounds, Mexican Girls will battle it out with Untouchable, behind Gaborone West Junior School.
Prisons X1 will host Meat Girls at Prisons, and a battle is expected Bosele when second placed Double Action will battle it out with Big Sisters.

Currently Double Action are sitting on position two, and only a point separates them with the log leaders Township Rollers, Double Action have 43 points and out of the 16 games they have played, they won 14,draw one, lost two games.

Therefore, they need to win the game at all cost, and hope that Rollers play a draw or lose their game, so that they go to the summit. All games starts at 3pm. Ends
