Public servants get 6

Public servants on D1 salary scale and below have been awarded a six per cent salary increment across the board, government chief negotiator, Ms Kebonye Moepeng has said.
Ms Moepeng told Radio Botswana news that the Public Service Bargaining Council has concluded its negotiations for salaries and conditions of service for the bargaining unit, which is composed of the salary scales of D1 and below, and has agreed to award a salary increase of six per cent across the board.
The salary increase takes effect from April 1, 2015.
