Swailaman releases debut album

Kanye seems to be endowed with singing talent especially in the dikhwaere genre as depicted by the frequency with which artistes in the area produce albums.
In just under two weeks, Moalakgang and Dipilara tsa ga Ngwaketse released their maiden albums; Mmalabadi and Dipilara respectively. It is remarkable that these talents started as hobbies at traditional choral choirs (dikhwaere) but now are being used to put bread on the table.
The 32 year-old Tshiamo Motlhankana, trading by the music industry name Swailaman, followed the bandwagon with a debut album Sedibeng; recorded, mixed and mastered at Jones studios but marketed and distributed by Smart Act Pty Ltd.
With the first track O re babalele, he is asking God to protect and give him strength in his music career. Dijontere is a self-praise track where Swailaman likens his collaboration with Moalakgang to the horse-power of a John Dierre tractor derivative on a ploughing field.
Swailaman narrated besides making a living out of music, he uses the platform to communicate with listeners.
“I have promoted my album in Kanye and have had a warm reception so far,” he said adding the album will be officially launched end of April at a venue to be announced. ENDS
