Ntebogang Junior Secondary School (JSS) in Kanye recently scooped a trophy after coming tops in a school health competition.


The second district school health competition that pitted six secondary schools from Kanye and Molapowabojang together was hosted by the Kanye Administration Authority (KAA).

The principal health education officer, Mr Onalethata Maiketso, explained that the competition was intended to raise awareness on the risks and dangers that come with teenage pregnancy.

Mr Maiketso added that they wanted to draw public and stakeholder attention to teenage pregnancy issues. He said Ntebogang JSS were winning for the competition for second time in a row.


In junior category battle, Kgatlhego Ngwanasejo of Ngwaketse junior asserted herself and took position one followed by Katlego Ngwako and Tsotlhe Molaolwa of Ntebogang who took position two and three.


For the senior category Lindiwe Maruping of Seepapitso senior came first followed by Apiah Oats and Bakang Mokweni respectively. ENDS
