Sharps roll over Boys

23 Mar 2015

Sharps Electrical registered their eighth win after walloping Rolling Boys 2-0 in a Debswana First Division South league game played at the SSG ground on March 22.

Sharps started the game like a house on fire and it did not come as a surprise when they scored their goal in the seventh minute through Moleboge Moleboge, who showed a lot of maturity throughout the game.

Although, one would have thought that Rolling Boys would strike back, that was not to be as they played with no sense of urgency and were also let down by their porous defence. Sharps Electrical continued to pile more pressure on the opponents and in the 17th Bonolo Majoni made it 2-0.

Rolling Boys tried hard to reduce the score line, but they were let down by their striking force, which lacked the killer instinct inside the box, and in the 32nd minute, Mogomotsi Kebaiste received a good ball but failed to score in a good position.

The game went into recess with Sharps on the driving seat. After half-time Rolling Boys continued to waste scoring opportunities and they failed to contain Majoni who caused havoc in the wing.Sharps are now on position six after playing 20 games. They won eight, lost six, drew six and have 30 points.

Rolling Boys are on position 10 with 25 points.
