Gaborone Stables lease expired 2004

Minister of Lands and Housing, Mr Prince Maele, has told Parliament that he was not aware any land that houses Gaborone stables.
Answering a question in Parliament, Mr Maele said the land that used to house Gaborone stables, had its lease lapse on May 31, 2004 and itbelonged to government.
He said prior to the acquisition by government and occupation by Gaborone stables, the land was used for agricultural activities.
Member of Parliament for Ramotswa, Mr Samuel Rantuana had asked the minister to state who owned the land that housed Gaborone stables and what was the land used for before it was occupied by Gaborone stables. ENDS
