Ghana president arrives

Ghanaian president, Dr John Mahama, touched down at the Sir Seretse Khama International Airport in Gaborone this morning (March 9), for a three-day state visit.
President Lt Gen. Seretse Khama Ian Khama welcomed Dr Mahama and his entourage. During his visit, Dr Mahama will hold bilateral talks with President Khama.
It is anticipated that the two leaders will deliberate on ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation between Botswana and Ghana.
President Mahama is also expected to officiate at the official opening of Dikgatlhong dam and to visit the Botswana Meat Commission (BMC), Diamond Trading Company, a diamond cutting and polishing factory and a youth funded project in Gaborone. ENDS
