Teachers accommodation to be addressed
05 Mar 2015
The shortage of teacher’s accommodation at Nata Primary School is planned to be addressed in the coming financial year.
Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr Frans Van Der Westhuizen said in Parliament that this would be done through the Primary Schools Backlog Eradication Programme where 17 teacher’s houses would be constructed as a package at the Primary School together with four classroom blocks and five toilet blocks.
Nata/Gweta MP, Mr Polson Majaga had wanted to know if the minister was aware that there was an acute shortage of teachers’ accommodation at Nata Primary School, and what plans were in place to address the situation. ENDS
