Mosetse Dam construction overdue

Minister of Infrastructure Science and Technology, Nonofo Molefhi has confirmed that the construction of Mosetse Dam is long overdue.
Answering a question in Parliament, of behalf of Minister of Minerals, Energy and Water Resource, he said the ministry has not yet planned the date of construction due to other developments such as Chobe-Zambezi water scheme.
Minister Molefhi, further said the ministry intends to carry out a due diligence assessment of how best to meet the water demands of Mosetse cluster on the basis of all available resources of water and subject to financial resources.
Nata /Gweta legislator, Mr Polson Majaga had asked if the minister was aware that the construction of Mosetse dam was long overdue. ENDS
