Prison street lights council's property

Minister of Defence, Justice and security Mr Shaw Kgathi has said street lights at the Selebi Phikwe Prison lights are the property of Selebi Phikwe Town Council and not the Botswana Prisons Services.
Selebi Phikwe West MP, Mr Dithapelo Keorapetse asked him him if he is aware that the street lights at the Selebi Phikwe Prison are situated outside the perimeter fence and as such serve no purpose.
Mr Keorapetse had also asked why the said lights are situated where they are instead of in the Prison premises and if there are any plans to relocate the lights into the precinct of the prison. ENDS
