DPSM launches customer service feedback survey

01 Mar 2015

In an effort to improve service delivery, the Directorate of Public Service Management (DPSM) will from this month launch a customer service feedback survey.

The DPSM director, Ms Ruth Maphorisa, said this when briefing the media on February 24.   Ms Maphorisa said the survey would be able to inform government on how it was doing in terms of people receiving service in government customer service.

She said the customer service feedback form that would be used during the survey had already been piloted in a number of locations and different service points to get to know how the public would react in terms of administering the form.

During the pilot project of these forms, she said DPSM managed to get useful feedback from members of the public.  The forms, she said, would be used to assess and analyse the services offered to customers on a monthly basis in order to try and improve services.

“Through this initiative, we hope that we will be able to better understand existing gaps in service delivery,” she said.

Ms Maphorisa noted that the initiative would be carried out across the country to get a holistic view of service delivery in line with the government’s vision to deliver quality service. ENDS
