Botswana has been drawn to play against South Africa in the quarterfinals of this year’s edition of the regional senior national teams football tournament, the Cosafa Cup.

The Zebras will play Bafana Bafana on May 25 in the tournament scheduled for South Africa’s North West province.

Peter JButler’s side will face a Bafana team, which was rejuvenated under Shakes Mashaba, going on a 12 match unbeaten run before struggling at the African Nations Cup in Gabon.

With Angola and the Comoros declining to partake in the tournament, Cosafa invited Ghana and Tanzania as guest nations.  The Zebras have avoided being part of the preliminary groups, being pooled straight into the quarterfinals.
