24 Feb 2015
Extension Gunners will lock horns with Letlapeng Sporting club on Wednesday (February 25) in the Premier League match at Lobatse New stadium at 7pm.
The Peleng boys who have been struggling recently suffered a 1-0 defeat to rookies Sankoyo Bush Bucks which has been terrorising the so called big teams.
Gunners will be thirsty to restore their pride and reputation as they are known to display carpet football.
The team is currently placed at number nine on the league log with 29 points from 20 games, and they will have to up their game if they want to enter the top 8 teams.
On the other side, Letlapeng are not to be undermined as they are faced with the much dreaded relegation, besides a number of problems such as the coaches’ reginations.
Letlapeng drew 1-1 with Police XI in and even though they drew they played good football with Coach Matshediso Moseki saying he was pleased with the boys’ performance; “they are growing,” he said.
Tshegofatso Chimuku was a stellar in the game as he was named man of the match and was happy that they were on the way to avoiding relegation.
Currently, Letlapeng sits at the bottom of the log on position 16 with only nine points from 20 games.
In another encounter which will be played on Thursday, February 26 the log leaders Mochudi Centre Chiefs face rookies Sankoyo Bush Bucks at Molepolole Sports Complex at 7pm.
The game will certainly be a marvel to watch, as Magosi seem to have regained their momentum; they have tumbled Popa from the top position gaining a four point difference position.
Sankoyo Bush Bucks on the other side does not have any respect for the big teams as it has been humiliating them using their home ground advantage. Kick-off time is 7pm. ENDS
