Minister of Infrastructure, Science and Technology, Mr Nonofo Molefhi says there is no budget for land servicing for Botsalo ward in Francistown.

Answering a question on behalf of the Minister of Minerals, Energy and Water Resources, Mr Molefhi said the situation existed before services were transferred to Water Utilities Corporation, adding that under the previous dispensation, the physical planning authorities in the given jurisdictions should have incorporated these pockets of unserviced areas during their plan upgrades.

Mr Molefhi said a number of stakeholders were being consulted in order to find a resolution to the problem.

Francistown West MP, Mr Ignatius Moswaane had asked the minister if he was aware that infrastructure developments for upgrading the Botsalo ward in Francistown was not complete as there were plots which do not have access to sewage line.

Mr Moswaane also asked when the developments were going to be completed.ENDS
