18 players graduate from constituency tournaments

The Minister of Youth, Sport and Culture, Mr Thapelo Olopeng has told Parliament that at least eight players graduated from constituency tournaments to the premier league and 10 to the first division.
He said at least 175 players graduated from constituency tournaments to regional football leagues, which had various divisions.
Mr Olopeng said it should be appreciated that netball and volleyball did not have different divisions but nonetheless at least 20 players joined the mainstream volleyball league from constituency tournaments while 17 joined the national netball league.
MP for Selebi Phikwe West, Mr Dithapelo Keorapetse had asked the minister to state the number of participants of the constituency tournament who have graduated to the premier league football, netball and volleyball.
He further asked him to also state those who graduated in to first and second division football, netball and volleyball.ENDS
