Goya in Rwanda

The Assistant Minister of Education and Skills Development, Mr Moiseraele Goya left for Kigali, Rwanda to attend the Extra-Ordinary Session of The Conference of Ministers of Education of The African Union (COMEDAF) and The Sub-Saharan Africa Regional Ministerial Conference on Education Post-2015 that began on February 7 and will end on February 11.
According to a news release from the ministry, the conference has brought together ministers and high level officials of ministries of education from the 47 member states in the Sub-Saharan Africa region as well as other critical stakeholders in education.
It says the objective of the conference is to discuss issues, challenges and priorities for education post-2015 on the basis of the National Education For All (EFA) reviews and in light of emerging development challenges.
The conference will also develop recommendations that will help shape the Post-2015 education agenda, stated the release. Mr Goya is expected back home on Thursday, February 12. ENDS
