08 Feb 2015
The minister for Presidential Affairs and Public Administration, Mr Eric Molale has told Parliament that he is not aware of any plans to stop the publication of the Kutlwano magazine.
Mr Molale was responding to a question asked by Member of Parliament for Gaborone Central Mr Phenyo Butale who had wanted to know if the minister is aware of any plans to stop the publication of the Kutlwano magazine that has been “the source of knowledge and information for many Batswana since 1962.”
Mr Butale also wanted the minister to state the reasons for such move and whether there are any plans to fill the gap that would be left by the magazine.
The MP further wanted to know whether there are any financial losses envisaged in the 2014/2015 financial year as a result of “this abrupt decision.” ENDS
