Sandvik Mining donates to GNT

Sandvik Mining and Construction recently donated a sport kit worth P5 000 to Debswana First Division North side, Great North Tigers (GNT) .
The company’s technical manager, Mark Green said the donation was part of their corporate social responsibility. He said they had decided to assist the team with 20 soccer boots, 20 t-shirts and 10 balls to boost their morale.
He said sport was a physical endeavour, which required players to have the proper equipment. GNT chairperson, Thebeitsile Motswaeng said clubs faced a lot of challenges in their daily activities.
He said the donation would go a long way in encouraging players to do more in the field of play. He also highlighted that the sports kit would spur his team to achieve better results in their upcoming games. ends
