Member of Parliament for Good Hope-Mabule constituency, Mr James Mathokgwane has lauded electorates for showing confidence in him by voting him to Parliament.
Addressing a kgotla meeting in Mabule on January 19, Mr Mathokgwane said residents exercised their right to vote. He told residents that he would uphold the oath that he took in Parliament to represent them well by advocating for development in the constituency.
He said he would discharge his duties diligently, honestly, fairly and to the best of his abilities. Mr Mathokgwane further implored all stakeholders in the constituency to work collectively to create synergies that will steer the development of the constituency.
He implored them to also contribute to development of their area, saying government had contributed immensely in national developments so the time had come for them to engage other stakeholders in the community to assist them in elevating their projects.
He was responding to the residents’ request for a community hall. Mr Mathokgwane urged the youth to utilise government programmes aimed at empowering them and improve their standards of living. ENDS
