Merafhe's children salute their father

"We promise to be honest, love each other and respect the country's leadership as you taught us," said Ms Reobonye Merafhe when reading a family message.
Lt Gen. Merafhe's son, Mr Odirile Merafhe said they had lost a "rock and foundation of our existence". He said their father was a principled man who instilled in them good values and discipline. He said the family appreciated support from government and Batswana at large.
Mr Merafhe applauded his mother for taking care of their ailing father. "Mother is a super woman and mam, we thank you," said Mr Merafhe.
