Khama salutes Merafhe

"The General that I knew touched the lives of many including mine," President Lt Gen. Seretse Khama Ian Khama said at the on-going funeral of former vice president.
He said Lt Gen. Mompati Merafhe was humorous, meticulous and he had a principled journey.
He said Lt Gen. Merafhe 's legacy "will live with us forever, adding that there was no doubt that the former vice president had an impct in Batswana lives. President Khama thanked Lt Gen. Merafhe's family for standing by him throughout his life and career. ends
