Central South select to play U-23
18 Dec 2014
Under 20 players from the Central South Region Football Association (CSRSA) league will play the Zebras Under 23 team at Botswana Railways Stadium in Mahalapye on Saturday, December 20.
In an interview recently, CSRFA public relations officer, Mogonono Maseba, said the game would be preceded by a curtain raiser between two women select teams from the south and north of the country.
“The objective of the match is to give CSRFA players exposure so that they can be selected for the national Under 23 team", he said. Maseba said the game would help scouting teams to identify potential players for their teams, and to give players from places such as Kalamare and Shoshong national exposure.
Furthermore, he said the match would be used to raise funds which would be donated to an organisation of people living with disability being Paralympics Association of Botswana (PASSOB) in Mahalapye.
Maseba called on the business community in Mahalapye and surrounding areas to come on board and pledge support towards the match to make the objective of donating to PASSOB successful. ENDS
