11 Mogoditshane teachers promoted

Assistant Minister of Education and Skills Development, Mr Moiseraela Goya, says since 2012, 11 teachers in primary schools in Mogoditshane have been promoted.
Answering a question in Parliament, he said the number might be considered low as the ministry has had to absorb serving teachers without posts against available.
Mr Goya said the exercise had since been completed and as such, there were bound to be more promotions within the area in future.He further said such promotions will be subject to availability of positions at a higher level and on the basis of teacher’s performance.
MP for Mogoditshane, Mr Sedirwa Kgoroba, had asked the minister if he was aware that since 2012 no primary school teacher had been promoted from any of the schools in Mogoditshane. ENDS
