Tewane to get electricity

Through a project which is co-sponsored by ministries of Minerals, Energy and Water Resources, Education and Skills Development and Local Government and Rural Development, government facilities in Tewane will be connected to the electricity grid during the next financial year.
The Minister of Minerals, Energy and Water Resources, Mr Kitso Mokaila said when answering a question in parliament from Member of Parliament for Mahalapye West, Mr Joseph Molefe.
Mr Molefe had asked the minister if he is aware that Tewane in the Mahalapye West constituency, does not have electricity despite having power line that runs through the village and if so, what plans are in place to electrify the village and when. ENDS
