Although Botsalano and Tatitown internal roads in Francistown are worn out, there are no plans to reconstruct the roads in the current National Development Plan 10.

Answering a question in Parliament on Tuesday Decemeber 9, Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development Mr Frans Van Der Westhuizen, said his ministry through the City of Francistown Council, would for now continue to maintain the roads through the 2015/16 financial year recurrent budget and consider them with other equally competing needs during NDP 11.

Francistown West Member of Parliament, Mr Ignatius Moswaane had wanted the minister to explain whether he was aware that the internal roads of Botsalano and Tatitown were worn out and that they had reached their life span, and when was he planning to build new roads. ENDS
