Police release names of deceased

The Botswana Police Service (BPS) has released the names of the people who died in a road accident that occurred near Dibete in the Central District on December 5.
Seven people lost their lives when a 16-seater minibus with 14 passengers on board overturned.
A press release from BPS says the names of the deceased are as follows; Mr Lekgotla Letlhatlhane (43) of Nakedi ward in Thamaga, Ms Baboneng Rantshilwane (71) of Phuting ward in Moshupa, Ms Asenyang Bakokonyane (46) of Nakedi ward in Thamaga, Mr Tebego Letlhatsane (69) of Nakedi ward in Thamaga, Ms Nkhumo Tefoetsile (48) of Nakedi ward in Thamaga , Ms Khumoyame Dingalo (57) of Phuting ward in Moshupa and Ms Kefilwe Mokgadi (64) of Rungwana ward in Thamaga.
Meanwhile, as per the release, three of the seven people who survived the accident are still hospitalised- two at Mahalapye Hospital and one at Nyangagwe Referral Hospital. “The rest have since been discharged,” added the release. ENDS
